Supported by Invest Alberta, Armada Energy is excited to announce a landmark investment initiative with an investment of USD200 million and 100 jobs to be created in Alberta by the end of 2025.

Armada Energy plans to acquire underutilized oil and gas assets and develop distributed energy infrastructure to power compute clusters that optimize unused energy resources and create equitable energy systems. The initiative emphasizes reducing carbon emissions, contributing to the local economy, and fostering long-termcommunity benefits. Armada Energy has recently successfully bid on a project in the province with its local partner, Nowlit Power Corp., and is actively exploring additional acquisition opportunities.

Incubated by Bitmain, Armada Energy is committed to delivering comprehensive solutions for flare gas treatment and grid balancing. The company will leverage cutting-edge technologies to drive carbon emissions reductions and accelerate the adoption of renewable energy solutions in Alberta. By utilizing unused resources and underutilized oil and gas assets, the initiative aims to convert energy to meet the growing demand for high-capacity computing, AI-driven technologies, and cloud services.
